Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join our Denver-area team. You will work with a dynamic group of engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects, performing CADD design tasks and learning CDM Smith CAD standards.

You will also support web research, spreadsheet work with macros, library cataloging, field inspections, and shop drawing reviews as part of your development in structural engineering.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural engineering.
• 10% or less travel as described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Perform CADD design tasks and contribute to CDM Smith CAD standards.
• Web searches and product data updates.
• Excel spreadsheet development (macros and repeated calculations).
• Structural library cataloging.
• Field inspection work.
• Shop drawing reviews.
