Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Structural Engineers to join the Aeronautics Systems Intern Program in Clearfield, UT. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where they will interact with users, customers and other developers.

As an intern, you’ll participate in a summer internship program to develop competencies in a variety of engineering specializations that may include: construct, test, calibrate, and report data, using engineering drawings and procedures, and

Qualifications

Enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering.
Graduating after August 2027.
Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
U.S. citizenship is required for government clearance positions.
Preferred GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
Operate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.
Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
