Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Structural Engineers to join the Aeronautics Systems Intern Program. This internship will be located in Clearfield, UT.

The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where they will interact with users, customers and other developers. As an intern you’ll participate in a summer internship program to develop competencies in a variety of engineering specializations that may include: construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, test and maintain

Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2027.
• Be majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related STEM field.
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time.

Responsibilities

• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.
• Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.

Basic Qualifications

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meetALL ofthe below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2027.

• Be majoring inMechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Aerospace Engineeringorrelated STEM field.

• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.

• Be able to obtain andmaintaina U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonableperiod of time, asdeterminedby the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.

• Previousinternship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

Intern Pay Range

• Undergraduate degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-timeMaster’sprogram):$18.50to$33.50per hour

• Master’s:$26.25to $41.50per hour
