Job summary

Stantec's New York City office offers an internship for Spring 2027 to support the Structural team on infrastructure design projects. You will work with engineers on contracts, drawings, and calculations, gaining practical skills and industry exposure.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in Civil or Structural Engineering programs, with CAD exposure and a strong orientation toward detail, communication, and teamwork in a dynamic office environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Exposure to CAD tools (AutoCAD/MicroStation) is required; familiarity with Revit/OpenBridge is preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing contract documents and reports for structural projects.
• Perform CAD tasks, check drawings and calculations, and assist with quantity take-offs and simple analyses.
• Support field inspections and project documentation under supervision.
