STV Incorporated seeks a Structural Engineering Intern in a hybrid Oklahoma City role. The intern will work with senior engineers on bridge and structural projects, applying engineering principles on office and on-site tasks, and supporting documentation and presentations.

The program welcomes undergrad and graduate candidates, with 3 days in the office weekly. The internship favors candidates available for at least 3 months and full-time work, with a compensation range listed.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Assist in the design and analysis of bridges and other structures, applying engineering principles and techniques.
• Support the preparation of design calculations, construction drawings, and technical reports.
• Participate in the inspection and rating of existing structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and present design information, including organising and interpreting data.
• Engage in both office-based tasks and on-site activities, gaining a comprehensive understanding of structural engineering processes.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, including reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Learn and apply relevant industry standards and best practices in structural design and inspection.
