Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern in Oklahoma City to work on bridges and related structures. The role involves design, analysis, drafting, and on-site inspection tasks, with a blend of office and field work in a hybrid setting.

Applicants should be pursuing a civil engineering degree (ABET-accredited or NCEES equivalent) and have exposure to structural software such as SAP2000, MIDAS, or CSI Bridge.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering at ABET-accredited university or NCEES equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of bridges and other structures.
• Support the preparation of design calculations, construction drawings, and technical reports.
• Participate in inspection and rating of existing structures per safety standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and present design information.
• Engage in office-based tasks and on-site activities to understand structural processes.
• Assist in preparing project documentation including reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Learn and apply industry standards in structural design and inspection.
• Perform other tasks to support project goals and team objectives.
