Job summary

Cannon Corp. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to support the team with basic calculations and analyses on diverse projects.

The role offers a minimum of 15 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with a flexible schedule between 8 am – 5 pm, in-office at the Irvine location. The ideal candidate is a 3rd or 4th year engineering student, has prior internship experience, and is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Qualifications

• Requires working on a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college.
• 3rd or 4th year engineering student who can work through the summer.
• Previous internship experience is required.
• Successful completion of EIT exam highly desirable.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING INTERN JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of a Project Manager or Project Engineer, a Structural Engineer Intern provides basic engineering calculations and analyses support, in the office and in the field, on a variety of engineering projects. We offer a minimum of 15 hours per week (depending upon available work), Monday thru Friday, with a flexible schedule between 8 am – 5 pm.
