Stantec is seeking a Structural Intern to support a range of local projects. You will work under the guidance of a Senior Engineer/Designer, performing Revit design, calculations, and field work.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student taking structural engineering courses to contribute to meaningful building projects. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in structural engineering or a related field.
• Motivated and dependable with coursework in structural design.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production of project deliverables including drawings and reports.
• Participate in structural design including analysis, design, and coordination.
• Perform field work evaluating existing sites as directed by a Senior Engineer/Designer.
• Assist with engineering duties on projects of varying complexity.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior staff.

Your Opportunity

The Structural Intern will work with close guidance and supervision on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a Senior Engineer/Designer. The Intern will perform a variety of tasks which may include Revit design, calculations, and field work. Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students who are taking or have taken structural engineering design type courses. This is a terrific opportunity for a college student to support a number of exciting local projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist with production of project deliverables including drawings, technical reports, and others.
• Participate in structural design including structural analysis, design, and coordination.
• Perform field work (evaluation of existing sites) as directed by Senior Engineer/Designer.
• Assists with engineering duties on projects of various complexity.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the senior engineering staff.
