Job summary

SSOE Group seeks a Structural Engineering Co-op for Spring 2027 to work onsite in Toledo, OH. The co-op will gain experience with Revit/AutoCAD and company AI tools while supporting supervised structural engineering tasks.

The role targets students in ABET-accredited programs and emphasizes learning with hands-on project support, standard practices, and client-facing exposure during occasional local visits.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET-accredited Civil, Architectural Engineering, or technically related discipline.
• Rising junior or senior academic year preferred.
• Registration with the Office of Professional Experience Program or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Basic computer skills; Revit or AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned structural engineering tasks under close supervision from the Department Manager or designee.
• Follow department standards, methods, and procedures relevant to the field of study.
• Complete daily duties and special projects, meeting assigned deadlines.
• Support team efforts to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Attend occasional local client visits; valid driver’s license required.
