Anchor Talent & Consulting is seeking an entry-level structural engineer (EIT track) in Round Rock, TX. You will analyze and design wood, steel, masonry and concrete structures under a PE, and contribute to reports and calc packages for projects up to $20M.

You will gain hands-on experience with real calculations, collaborate with licensed professionals, and progress toward your Texas PE while working on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering, or another engineering degree with a structural focus.
• FE passed (EIT), or plans to take it soon.
• Coursework in structural analysis plus steel, wood or concrete design.
• School-level Revit and AutoCAD, and strong technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Support assessments and forensic evaluations of existing buildings
• Write engineering reports and calc packages that go to clients
• Update drawings in Revit and AutoCAD (an in-house Revit tech handles most of the drafting)
• Visit job sites with the PE every month or two

Structural Designer / Engineering Apprentice (EIT Track) | Round Rock, TX | On-site | $28-$32/hr + paid overtime

Anchor Talent & Consulting is partnering with a growing structural engineering firm in Round Rock to hire an entry-level structural engineer (EIT track). If you want to run real calculations on real buildings in your first year, not redlines, this is the role. You’ll work one-on-one with a licensed PE and do the analysis, design and reports on commercial, industrial, school and forensic projects up to $20M, while building toward your Texas PE.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze and design wood, steel, masonry and concrete structures (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360), with a PE reviewing your work
• Support assessments and forensic evaluations of existing buildings
• Write engineering reports and calc packages that go to clients
• Update drawings in Revit and AutoCAD (an in-house Revit tech handles most of the drafting)

What You Bring
