Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering required; master’s preferred.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required; multi-state licensure a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in steel truss or modular bridge design (vehicular/pedestrian).
• Proficiency in STAAD, RISA, SAP2000, or Midas Civil for analysis/design.
• Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD, AISC and AWS standards; strong CAD/BIM skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with fabrication and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis and design of steel truss and beam bridges for vehicular and pedestrian projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specs per standards.
• Collaborate with fabrication, drafting, and field teams for constructability and cost control.
• Conduct load rating analyses, inspections, and rehabilitation assessments.
• Provide technical input for proposals, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for accuracy and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns; foster learning and excellence.
• Coordinate with project managers to manage schedules, budgets, and quality across projects.
