Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Structural Engineer with hands-on experience in steel structural design, connection design, and basic steel detailing for fabrication documentation. You will design and evaluate large-scale infrastructure and modular projects, performing structural analysis with software like RISA 3D to ensure safety for transport, lifting, and operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural (Civil) Engineering.
• EIT certification or progress toward PE licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of structural engineering experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
• Experience with structural steel design and connection design.
• Familiarity with lifting/transport design and temporary load conditions.
• Proficiency with structural analysis tools (RISA 3D preferred).
• Working knowledge in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with data center or industrial structural projects.

Responsibilities

• Design structural steel systems and connections.
• Develop foundation designs and prepare construction drawings.
• Coordinate with architectural, civil, and mechanical teams.
• Review submittals and validate fabrication processes.
• Provide technical guidance during construction and site inspections.
