Job summary

GRAEF in Minneapolis is seeking an experienced individual to manage projects and lead a structural team while directly engaging in project design. The right candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and registered as a Professional Engineer (PE).

This position offers the chance to grow into a leadership role, with a focus on mentorship, project management, and business development in a flexible working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural design of buildings.
• Professional registration as a PE.
• Experience in health care and/or education market areas preferred.

Responsibilities

We are considering candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural design of buildings.
• Project Management experience is required.
• Professional registration as a PE.
• The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
• Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
• Staff management and proven leadership experience preferred
• Working knowledge of REVIT and other engineering software preferred
• Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development
• Experience in health care and/or education market areas preferred
