Position: Tampa, FL Regional Structural Project Inspector / Project Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Structural Project Inspector / Project Engineer to join our team in the Tampa, FL region. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, gathering data for reports, assisting with structural designs, and working closely with project managers. A P.E. license is not required, but prior experience in structural engineering, civil engineering, construction, or permitting is necessary.

Qualifications:

• Experience in structural, civil engineering, construction, or permitting
• EIT or PE license is a plus but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• Experience with residential and commercial projects preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar software is a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and client service skills
• Ability to conduct inspections throughout the Tampa region

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site inspections to collect data for reports and designs
• Analyze site and structural information for evaluations
• Develop permit-ready structural drawings and recommendations
• Coordinate with local building departments for permit approvals
• Provide updates and serve as a point of contact for clients
• Monitor project milestones and deadlines
• Ensure compliance with Florida Building Code and standards
