Job summary

Goff Engineering is seeking a Structural Engineer PE-2 in Durango, CO. You will design building structures, produce construction documents with AutoCAD and Revit, and collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior staff, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering high-quality documents under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE licensure or eligibility in Colorado is expected.
• Experience designing building structures per relevant codes.

Responsibilities

• Produce Construction Documents for building structures using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate with architects and contractors for coordinated designs.
• Establish project criteria and design requirements per building codes.
• Perform self-directed structural analysis under senior supervision.
• Manage multiple projects and provide responsive client service.
• Mentor junior design staff and perform QA/QC on small projects.
