Job summary

Jackola Engineering & Architecture, PC in Kalispell, Montana seeks a talented licensed Structural Engineer to lead our Structural Discipline. You will advance technical excellence, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality engineering practices across the company.

As the principal technical leader for the Structural group, you will guide standards, foster professional growth, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional designs for clients and contractors.

Qualifications

PE license required; SE designation a plus but not required.
10+ years of post-graduate structural experience.
Experience with wood, steel, concrete, and masonry systems.
Strong knowledge of building codes and value engineering.
Excellent organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead development and maintenance of structural design standards.
Mentor structural staff and identify training opportunities.
Serve as primary technical resource and point of escalation for structural matters.
Collaborate to set best practices across disciplines.
Independently lead design staff through design and construction phases.
Engage with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality designs.
