Job summary

Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering in Lone Tree, CO is seeking a mid‑level Structural Engineer to lead design efforts for industrial projects across North America. The role involves guiding steel and concrete designs, coordinating with design/construction teams, and advancing from design through construction with an emphasis on safety and buildability.

Ideal candidates bring PE or progress toward PE, 3+ years in industrial or building markets, and proficiency with BIM and structural software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in structural, civil, or architectural engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• PE license or in process of obtaining within 18 months.
• 3+ years in structural engineering/design for concrete and steel; EPC/design-build experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural design for moderate to large industrial projects in steel and concrete.
• Develop calculations, drawings, and specifications; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Use BIM to develop plans, models, and documentation for coordination and constructability.
• Incorporate EPC and contract requirements into structural design.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Identify improvements to standards, workflows, and processes.
