Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access and favorable medical examination/testing.
• Senior level requires 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems as a subject matter expert.
• Lead short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations.
• Perform engineering tasks using engineering principles as directed by supervision.
• Ensure configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes in plans and specifications.
• Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses for technical projects and programs.
• Suggest equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, or address design or material flaws.
• Support outage activities and provide departmental coverage as needed.
