Constellation Energy is seeking an experienced engineer to perform advanced technical problem solving for nuclear plant operations. The role acts as a technical expert to engineers and drives decisions with deep knowledge of industry codes and regulations.

The position encompasses developing engineering analyses, providing leadership on programs, and ensuring rigorous design criteria are applied in plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2+ years in nuclear or related engineering (Mid-level).
• Favorable medical examination and/or testing per position duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Direct engineering and technical leadership accountability for short- and long-term programs affecting site operations.
• Perform engineering tasks using engineering principles as assigned by supervision.
• Ensure configuration management and use of standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes in plans and specs.
• Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses for technical projects and programs.
• Recommend equipment and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, or comply with codes or regulations.
• Support outage activities and emergency response as directed.
