Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer in Naperville, IL, to join a collaborative team focused on evaluating and designing structural systems for power-generating facilities. Qualifications

• Completed a bachelor's or master's degree in civil/structural engineering from an accredited university.
• Available to start in the next 1-2 months.
• Design modification experiences preferred.
• Proficiency in the preparation of structural designs.
• Knowledge of structural analysis and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and RISA-3D is preferred.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members, presenting design proposals, and documenting design specifications.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage own assignments with minimal oversight, balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality; produce drawings, calculations, and technical evaluations.
• Stay current with industry codes, standards, and safety practices; apply QA standards.
• Travel to plant sites and conduct walkdowns of structures and systems; interface with client personnel.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to integrate civil/structural designs with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
