Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering with a Structures concentration, or a related field, with at least three years of study completed.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Performs specific portions of a broader assignment under the mentoring of an experienced structural engineer.
• Prepares designs and calculations for a variety of materials, including structural steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry.
• Evaluate, select, apply standard engineering techniques, and procedures to design structural building systems and members in buildings utilizing hand calculations and the latest structural engineering software.
• Coordinate with other discipline Engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design process.
• Perform construction administration duties, including shop drawing review and RFI response preparation.
