Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill’s Structural Department is seeking a civil engineering intern for a 12-week paid summer program. The role focuses on vertical structural design and offers in-depth project experience within a collaborative team. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with hybrid work options.

The ideal candidate is pursuing Civil Engineering with a structural focus, has a 3.0 GPA or higher, and is proficient in MS Office. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Synchro experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Synchro is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building design.
• Assist with the preparation of local and state permit applications.
• Conduct field visits.
• Provide construction administration and support.
• Utilize design-related computer programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Synchro.
