Job summary

Engineering Services & Products Company seeks a Structural Engineer II in Dyersville, IA to independently coordinate and perform structural steel design for buildings and foundation elements. Candidate must be able to function as part of an engineering team as well as work closely with and advise design staff.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in structural design codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI).
• Experience mentoring ETIs and reviewing structural calculations for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform and validate advanced structural calculations (finite element, load path, connections, fatigue).
• Develop engineering specifications applying IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI codes.
• Review calculations, models, and drawings for accuracy and code compliance; mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with manufacturing on design-for-fabrication.
• Perform shallow and deep foundation and masonry design.
• Serve as technical contact on bid reviews and engineering questions from sales, customers, and R&D.
• Other duties as assigned.
