Job summary

Engineering Services & Products Company seeks a Structural Engineer II in Dyersville, IA to independently coordinate and perform structural steel design for buildings and foundation elements. You will work with a team, advise design staff, and define project scope and budget for the civil/structural portion of projects.

You will review models and drawings, apply IBC/ASCE/AISC/ACI codes, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with manufacturing on fabrication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience applying IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI codes and standards.
• Ability to coordinate with and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Foundation design and structural steel design experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced structural analyses and calculations (e.g., finite element, load path, connection, fatigue).
• Develop design criteria per codes and standards.
• Review calculations, models, and drawings for accuracy and code compliance.
• Coordinate with manufacturing on design-for-fabrication; support bid reviews.
