The role requires a Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering with 5+ years of related experience, familiarity with relevant codes, and the ability to travel up to 25% for fabrication oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of related work experience.
• Experience with design, fabrication, or assembly of nuclear hardware and structures.
• Familiar with ANSI/AISC, AWS, and ACI codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with managers, engineers, designers, and vendors for structural design of US ITER project components.
• Perform, develop, and modify complex structural analyses for carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials per codes.
• Check concrete anchorage per project guidelines and document results in DAC packages.
• Support development of project guidance documents and review others' work.
• Present structural design and analysis in design reviews with the IO and SME teams.
• Assist procurement in SOWs, specs, non-conformances, and deviation requests during Title III activities.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% to oversee fabrication and related activities.
