Schaefer seeks a Project Engineer to design and detail high-quality structures for national public and private projects. You will work on diverse projects, lead design efforts and build client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Civil/Architectural Engineering with EIT, and MS preferred; intern/co-op experience is valued as well. The role offers hybrid work options and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Architectural Engineering; MS preferred
• Structural engineering experience in building design; intern or co-op experience preferred
• EIT certification

• Design and detail efficient structures that are code compliant, accurate and high quality
• Act as the Project Engineer on multiple projects that vary in size and complexity
• Develop skills in RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, MathCAD and RISA 3D
