Job summary

Council on Vertical Urbanism (CVU) - Australia Chapter seeks an EIT Structural Engineer for our Charlotte, NC office to support diverse building projects. The role focuses on design, analysis, and collaboration with architects and contractors, offering growth toward PE licensure.

You will work on steel, concrete, wood, and masonry systems, using Revit for drawings and BIM coordination, with mentorship from senior engineers and increasing project responsibilities as you progress.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of structural engineering experience.
• EIT certification required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• PE license welcomed, but not required; actively progressing toward PE licensure.
• Experience with Revit.
• Familiarity with RISA, RAM, ETABS, or similar structural analysis software.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting structural design across a variety of building projects.
• Performing structural analysis and calculations.
• Designing steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures.
• Preparing drawings and models using Revit.
• Coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Participating in site visits and construction administration.
• Working closely with senior engineers while taking on increasing project responsibility.
