Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking a Structural Engineer to join the Tyler, Texas office and lead the structural discipline on projects. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in structural-focused Civil or Architectural Engineering, at least three years of experience, and a passed FE exam.

You will work with local clients, utilize STAAD Pro and/or RISA, and leverage Civil 3D, REVIT, and AutoCAD. Travel to project sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience.
• Must have passed the FE exam.
• Current knowledge of professional codes, laws, computer applications, and trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Strength in analysis and design including structural steel and reinforced concrete.
• Proficiency in use of STAAD Pro and/or RISA.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and disposition to work in a team atmosphere.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Experience and knowledge of local clients.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, REVIT, and/or AutoCAD.
• Ability to lead execution of structural discipline scope on projects.
• Experience and knowledge of local clients.
• Ability to travel as required for project assignments.
