Job summary

HDR is seeking a Structural EIT in Round Rock, TX to contribute to design analyses, option development, and cost estimates for structural projects. You’ll collaborate with engineers and technicians to deliver safe, sustainable solutions and help shape the built environment.

Candidates should have a Civil or Structural Engineering degree and an EIT certificate, plus proficiency with MS Office and design software such as AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• EIT certificate.
• Proficiency with MS Office and structural software (AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE, etc.).
• Prior structural design internship or work experience is a plus.
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in cost estimates and specifications for structural projects.
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
• Work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects.
• Give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
