Job Description for Structural Engineer

This is a remote position based in Florida. The salary range is $98,000 to $111,700 per year, depending on skills and experience. The role involves managing structural design efforts for multiple projects, primarily working with cold-formed steel and structural steel for various building types nationwide.

Responsibilities include:

• Organizing and managing structural design efforts for multiple projects
• Designing and laying out structural engineering drawings, including plans, schedules, and details
• Designing structural systems using cold-formed steel and structural steel for healthcare, commercial, retail, residential, industrial, and institutional buildings
• Preparing structural calculations and design drawings for submission

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in cold-formed steel design
• Knowledge of cold-formed steel design and AISI standards
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Structural Engineer (S.E.) registration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoDesk Revit, AutoCAD, CFS Designer, and RISA
