Structural Engineer - Cold Formed Steel (REMOTE)

The role of a Structural Engineer specializing in Cold Formed Steel is pivotal in the construction industry as it focuses on creating safe, durable, and efficient structures using cold formed steel materials. This position is crucial for ensuring that all designs adhere to building codes, are technically sound, and are delivered within project timelines. The Structural Engineer will work remotely, capitalizing on the combination of innovative design principles and advanced engineering technologies to enhance structural performance. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects, project managers, and construction teams to deliver comprehensive engineering solutions that meet client expectations while optimizing construction methods. Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in structural engineering, focusing on cold formed steel.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, RISA, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent AutoCAD skills for drafting and design.
  • Proven track record in project management and delivery.
