Job summary
RDA Consulting Engineers in Naples, FL seeks a civil/structural designer with 2+ years of experience to perform design for residential and commercial projects. You will work under a senior engineer, perform structural calculations, and coordinate construction documents with in-house staff.
Responsibilities include pile-supported and coastal design per ASCE 24, FEMA, and FBC, plus site inspections and plan-review responses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2+ years of structural design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural calculations and design for residential and commercial projects under senior engineer supervision.
- Prepare and coordinate construction documents with in-house designers and drafters.
- Assist with design of pile-supported structures and coastal construction per ASCE 24, FEMA, and FBC.
- Support site inspections and construction observation.
- Respond to plan review comments and coordinate with architects and delegated engineers.
