RDA Consulting Engineers in Naples, FL seeks a civil/structural designer with 2+ years of experience to perform design for residential and commercial projects. You will work under a senior engineer, perform structural calculations, and coordinate construction documents with in-house staff.

Responsibilities include pile-supported and coastal design per ASCE 24, FEMA, and FBC, plus site inspections and plan-review responses.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2+ years of structural design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural calculations and design for residential and commercial projects under senior engineer supervision, across wood, masonry, steel, and concrete
• Prepare and coordinate construction documents with in-house designers and drafters
• Assist with design of pile-supported structures and coastal construction per ASCE 24, FEMA, and FBC
• Support site inspections and construction observation
• Respond to plan review comments and coordinate with architects and delegated engineers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 2+ years of structural design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enercalc or Revit experience
• Coastal or high-end residential project experience
• Progress toward Florida PE licensure
