St. Louis MO is looking for Structural Bridge Design Engineers - Intern || Entry || Mid || Senior Level experience

As a Structural Bridge Design Engineer with Modjeski and Masters, you will work on a variety of challenging and rewarding bridge engineering projects for transportation clients. You will perform engineering tasks under the supervision of experienced professionals, interact directly with clients, and contribute to projects that set new standards in bridge engineering.

Qualifications

Positions Available -

• Internship
• Entry Level (0-4 years' experience)
• Mid-Level (4-10 years' related Bridge Design Experience)
• Senior Level (10+ years' related Bridge Design Experience)

Ideal Candidates will have:

• At minimum, a BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university
• Internship: Working towards a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Entry Level: Passed the FE exam and have a valid EIT (or within 6 months of obtaining)
• Mid-Level: Within 6 months of obtaining a PE license
• Senior Level: Valid PE license

General Responsibilities:

• Review and check structural design calculations
• Perform structural analysis and design using software
• Develop preliminary details with CAD
• Provide information for design reports
• Assist with field inspections and construction services
• Communicate effectively in English
• Prepare project documents and correspondence
• Perform quantity take-offs and review drawings
• Use engineering software like LUSAS, RISA-3D, LEAP Bridge, AutoCAD, MicroStation
• Apply relevant design standards (AASHTO, AREMA, AISC, ACI)

Senior Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead project delivery and serve as technical lead on complex projects
• Assist Project Managers in issue resolution
