Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Structural Engineer role based in Winter Haven, FL. The Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis and calculations for a variety of building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing structural designs, preparing engineering drawings and specifications, and using computer-aided design (CAD) tools to model and document structural systems. The role involves collaborating with civil engineers, architects, and contractors, reviewing shop drawings, supporting construction activities with technical guidance, and participating in site visits to verify structural integrity and resolve field issues. The engineer will also contribute to project planning, schedule tracking, and quality assurance, while maintaining clear and professional communication with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

Number one priority is the ability to relocate to Winter Haven, FL 33880.

The second important requirement is that the candidate should be US citizen. We do not have sponsorship program for overseas candidates.

Fluency in Spanish language is a plus.

• Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles to practical design solutions.
• Proficiency in Structural Analysis and engineering Calculations for steel, specially for cold form, steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures.
• Experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and related structural design tools to create accurate models and drawings.
• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field; professional licensure (EIT/PE) or progress toward licensure is preferred.
• Knowledge of Florida, Texas and Minnesata building codes, industry standards, and construction practices, with attention to safety and regulatory compliance is a plus.
• Effective communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Prior experience in building design, inspections, or consulting engineering is beneficial; familiarity with project documentation and reporting is a plus.
