Job summary

Qualifications

• Familiarity with IBC and national codes.
• Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to perform site visits for observations and field measurements.

Role Description

This is for a full-time position at our office located in Wentzville, MO. Responsibilities include analysis and design for commercial, retail, industrial, and residential projects using structural steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and light gauge steel. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include conducting structural analysis and preparing construction documents. The role involves developing drawings using Revit, coordinating with architects, owners, and contractors, and responding to field questions during construction. The Structural Engineer will also review shop drawings, assist with assessments, make site visits, and prepare reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, master’s degree is a plus
• EIT Certificate or recently received PE license
• 0 - 5 years structural engineering experience
• Experience with structural engineering software (RISA is ideal)
• Experience with IBC and other national standard codes
• Revit or AutoCAD experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to make site visits for observations and obtaining field measurements
