Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of structural design and analysis experience in utilities or infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with PLS-POLE, finite element analysis (FEA), and related engineering software.
  • Solid understanding of AISC structural steel design principles and standards.
  • Experience calculating base reactions, load paths, and stress factors.
  • Familiarity with seismic load analysis and regional design requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed structural analysis and design of utility and infrastructure projects using AISC and applicable codes.
  • Develop and review engineering calculations, drawings, and reports related to steel and foundation structures.
  • Utilize PLS-POLE, FEA tools, and other modeling software to assess structure performance and optimize designs.

We’re seeking a Structural Engineer with strong technical expertise in steel design and structural analysis to support a wide range of utility and infrastructure projects. This position plays a key role in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and compliance of structural systems exposed to demanding environments, including seismic and load‑bearing conditions. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative engineering settings and brings a balance of analytical skill and practical design experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed structural analysis and design of utility and infrastructure projects using AISC and applicable codes.
  • Develop and review engineering calculations, drawings, and reports related to steel and foundation structures.
