Job summary

Blueprint Hires seeks a Structural Engineer to join our Florida office, working on major projects in steel, concrete, masonry and timber. You will conduct advanced structural analysis using ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM and RISA; design and analyze supportive systems; and prepare calculations, detailing and engineering reports.

The role includes supporting construction administration and ensuring compliance with building codes and seismic design.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• In-depth knowledge of structural analysis and seismic design.
• Experience in preparing structural calculations, detailing and reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, RISA).
• Design and analyze structural systems including steel braced/moment frames, concrete/masonry shear walls, post-tensioned concrete, and timber.
• Prepare structural calculations, detailing and engineering reports.
• Support construction administration phase of projects.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and seismic design.

An industry-leading construction and forensic consulting firm is seeking a Structural Engineer to help them design major projects including steel, concrete, masonry and/or timber structures at their Florida office

Your Day Includes

• Conducting advanced structural analysis using standard structural analysis programs such as ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, and RISA.
• Designing and analyzing common structural systems including steel braced and moment frames, concrete and masonry shear walls, concrete frames, post-tensioned concrete, and light-frame timber structures.
• Preparing structural calculations, detailing, and engineering reports.
• Supporting the construction administration phase of the project.
• Ensuring compliance with building code requirements and seismic design.

Must Haves

• PE license.
• In-depth knowledge of structural engineering analysis, building code requirements and seismic design.
• Experience in the preparation of structural calculations, structural detailing, and preparing engineering reports.
• Testifying as an expert witness in dispute resolution proceedings, as necessary.
