Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Structural Engineer to join our Newport Beach team in a hybrid schedule. This permanent, full-time role focuses on the design, analysis, and detailing of structural systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

You will work with steel, concrete, and wood, using AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000, and STAAD Pro, and you must hold a PE license with at least five years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience in the construction industry.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for various types of buildings and materials.
• Use structural software programs such as AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, and other related software for designing and modeling structures.
• Perform seismic design and analysis, ensuring all designs meet local, state, and federal seismic codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
• Review and approve structural shop drawings and material submittals.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with design.

Are you a dynamic, detail-oriented, and innovative Structural Engineer with a passion for designing and analyzing building structures? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a focus on the design, analysis, and detailing of structural systems.
