gpac is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our growing, Nashville-area engineering firm. You will perform on-site evaluations of residential and commercial structures and oversee design and construction projects to ensure safety and durability.

The ideal candidate holds a BSCE, 2+ years of related experience, EIT or PE, strong AutoCAD Civil3D skills, excellent communication, and a valid driver's license. Join a team committed to mentorship and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in related engineering field.
• EIT or PE is required.
• Strong understanding of stormwater design, grading and utility layouts.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop design ideas using AutoCAD 3D, considering client requirements and environmental impacts.
• Ensure designs are robust, safe, and sustainable.
• Conduct site investigations for planning and design.
• Address erosion control to minimize environmental impact.
• Develop detailed site development designs including drainage and shoring.
• Prepare reports, designs, and drawings for clients and non-engineers.
• Coordinate with architects, surveyors, and contractors to meet schedule and budget.

• Work on erosion control, ensuring that the environmental impact of our projects is minimized.
• Develop detailed designs for site development, including drainage and shoring.
• Prepare reports, designs, and drawings, making complex engineering concepts and procedures understandable for clients and non-engineering professionals.
• Liaise with other professionals, including architects, surveyors, and contractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Monitor the progress of projects from concept to completion, ensuring that structures are built according to the design and specification.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering developments and innovations, applying this knowledge to your work.
