gpac is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join a growing firm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The engineer will perform on-site evaluations and oversee design, planning, and construction of residential and commercial structures.

The role requires a BSCE or related field, 2+ years of experience, and EIT/PE, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and strong stormwater design knowledge. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related engineering field.
• EIT or PE required.
• Strong understanding of stormwater design, grading, and utility layouts.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Develop design ideas using AutoCAD 3D based on client requirements and environmental considerations.
• Ensure designs are robust, efficient, and meet safety and sustainability standards.
• Conduct site investigations to gather data for planning and design.
• Address erosion control and minimize environmental impact of projects.
• Create detailed site development designs, including drainage and shoring.
• Prepare reports, designs, and drawings and explain complex concepts to clients and non-engineers.
• Coordinate with architects, surveyors, and contractors to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Monitor project progress from concept to completion to ensure conformance with design and specs.
• Stay current with engineering developments and apply them to projects.
