Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Kansas team. You will prepare structural designs, calculations, and documentation for a variety of industrial and commercial projects.

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to deliver robust solutions from concept to construction. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant ABET-accredited program and 3–6 years of experience; PE licensure is preferred or actively pursued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Approximately 3-6 years of structural engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or actively pursuing licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare structural designs, calculations, construction documents, and engineering reports.
  • Develop structural solutions utilizing steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and other building materials.
  • Produce and coordinate construction drawings and 3D models with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Assist in developing project budgets, cost estimates, and technical proposals.
  • Participate in client meetings to understand project goals and communicate engineering solutions.
  • Mentor designers and junior staff while supporting project delivery.

Job Details
  • Responsibilities include:

  • Perform field observations and support construction activities as needed.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines throughout project execution.
  • Mentor designers and junior engineering staff while supporting project delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable building codes, industry standards, and safety requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Approximately 3-6 years of structural engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
