Job summary

Jobot, based in Dallas, TX, seeks a Structural Engineer to join a fully integrated AE firm handling cutting-edge projects nationwide, including restaurants and commercial spaces. The role offers growth, collaboration with architects, and involvement from concept through construction.

You will use RISA, Enercalc, and AutoCAD to deliver detailed reports and drawings, ensure compliance with codes, and contribute to a dynamic team with excellent work-life balance and a competitive compensation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency with RISA, Enercalc, and AutoCAD.
• Experience with restaurant or commercial projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use advanced structural analysis software like RISA and Enercalc to perform complex calculations and simulations.
• Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and engineers to ensure structural integrity of projects including restaurants, hospitality, entertainment, and commercial works.
• Prepare detailed reports, drawings, and specifications for each project.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on structural design aspects.
• Ensure designs comply with local and national building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

1. Use advanced structural analysis software like RISA and Enercalc to perform complex calculations and simulations.

3. Prepare detailed reports, drawings, and specifications for each project.
4. Participate in project meetings and provide critical input on structural design aspects.
5. Ensure all designs and projects comply with local and national building codes and regulations.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor\'s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. A Master\'s degree or EIT license is a plus.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on restaurant or commercial projects.
3. Proficiency in structural analysis software such as RISA and Enercalc.
4. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
5. Excellent skills in production engineering and project management.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
7. Knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations.
