$95,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Position Overview

Are you an experienced Structural Engineer looking to work on challenging and diverse projects? We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our highly regarded structural engineering team, specializing in bridge design, building structures, and construction engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and overseeing new construction, rehabilitation, and restoration of bridges and buildings.
• Conducting existing structure evaluations, load rating analyses, and hydraulic studies.
• Preparing plans and specifications for various bridge types.
• Developing cofferdams, formwork, erection plans, and demolition plans.
• Supporting construction engineering and inspection services in line with IDOT and National Bridge Inspection Standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• PE or SE license preferred, or ability to obtain one
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on municipal projects.
• Strong knowledge of IDOT standards and regulations.
• Proficient in structural analysis software and engineering design tools.
