Jobot, based in Dallas, TX, seeks a Structural Engineer to contribute to a fully integrated AE firm working on cutting edge projects across multiple industries, including restaurants and commercial spaces. You will perform advanced structural analyses and collaborate with architects to ensure code-compliant designs.

Requirements include a 2+ year track record in structural engineering, proficiency with RISA, Enercalc and AutoCAD, and strong project management and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; Master's or EIT a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in structural engineering, restaurant or commercial projects preferred.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software: RISA and Enercalc; strong AutoCAD knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Use RISA and Enercalc to perform complex structural analyses and simulations.
• Collaborate with architects and construction managers to ensure structural integrity across diverse projects (restaurants, hospitality, commercial).
• Prepare detailed reports, drawings, and specifications for each project.

Job Details

Responsibilities

1. Use advanced structural analysis software like RISA and Enercalc to perform complex calculations and simulations.
2. Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to ensure the structural integrity of various building projects, including: restaurants, hospitality, entertainment, commercial, etc.
3. Prepare detailed reports, drawings, and specifications for each project.
4. Participate in project meetings and provide critical input on structural design aspects.
5. Ensure all designs and projects comply with local and national building codes and regulations.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. A Master's degree or EIT license is a plus.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on restaurant or commercial projects.
3. Proficiency in structural analysis software such as RISA and Enercalc.
4. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
5. Excellent skills in production engineering and project management.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
7. Knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations.
