You will use AutoCAD 3D and collaborate with architects, surveyors, and contractors to deliver designs on time and within budget. A PE license and 5+ years of site‑development experience are required, with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil or structural engineering with a focus on site development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D is essential.
• Strong understanding of erosion control, shoring, and drainage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with creative engineering solutions.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Structural Engineer to join our thriving team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring that structures are safe and capable of withstanding the elements. We are a growing MEP firm based out of Grand Rapids who is looking to expand our Structural Engineering Team!

Responsibilities

• 1. Develop design ideas using AutoCAD 3D, considering the client’s requirements and the project’s potential environmental impacts.
• 2. Ensure that all designs are robust, efficient, and meet the highest standards of safety and sustainability.
• 3. Conduct site investigations to gather data for planning and design.
