Job summary

Design Alaska Inc. seeks a licensed Structural Engineer, or an engineer approaching licensure, to join our multidisciplinary team in Fairbanks, Alaska.

The firm delivers architectural, engineering, and surveying services with a collaborative, growth-focused environment. The role involves structural design from concept through construction, seismic detailing, BIM modeling in Revit, and construction administration.

Qualifications

• PE/SE license or within one year of licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university with structural coursework.
• Experience with Revit and structural analysis software.
• Strong structural analysis and design skills.

What You'll Do:

• Structural design from concept through construction
• Seismic design and detailing
• Structural damage assessment and repair design
• BIM modeling and coordination
• Construction administration and site visits
• Cost estimating and technical reporting
  

What We're Looking For:

• PE/SE license or within one year of licensure
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, with structural coursework
• Experience with Revit and structural analysis software
• Strong structural analysis and design skills
• Interest in mentoring EITs and interns
• Interest in project management and building strong client relationships
