MKA International, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio is looking for a mid-to-senior level Professional Engineer to join their forensic engineering team. The role involves evaluating structural systems related to various incidents, including natural and human-induced damage, and requires a strong understanding of structural design.
Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, an Ohio Professional Engineer license, and experience in Structural Engineering. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits including 401(k) match.
We are seeking to add a highly-motivated mid-to-senior level licensed Professional Engineer to our team of multi-disciplinary licensed engineers. The individual will have knowledge in the behavior of structural systems and their components for use in forensic engineering relating to residential, commercial, industrial facilities, marine and inland structures. Experience in performing failure cause & origin analysis on building systems, authoring technical reports, and construction litigation is desired but not necessary if background is strong in design. Building system types include but are not limited to: steel, concrete, masonry, wood, roofing and building envelopes.
Compensation: $90k – $100k. MKA offers a competitive salary (commensurate with experience) and benefits program including a generous 401(k) match, ESOP participation, medical, dental, vision, and paid vacation.
