Job summary

RealREPP, a national recruiting firm, is partnering with a well-established building solutions provider to hire a licensed Structural Engineer for an in-office role in Matthews, NC, with potential for hybrid long-term.

The candidate must have a PE or SE license and 5+ years of structural engineering experience, including advanced manufacturing/technology projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and related tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
• 5+ years Structural Engineering experience.
• PE license required (any state).
• Stamping experience preferred.
• Experience on advanced manufacturing/advanced technology projects (required).
• Experience on large-scale projects (required).
• Strong knowledge of building codes: ASCE, IBC, ACI, UFC, NDS, AISC.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, RISA-3D, Enercalc, Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and assemble pertinent information into a comprehensive and installer-friendly professional package
• Assist Technical Support Engineers to create professional custom-engineered details & calculations including review & approval
• Work with engineering team to provide solutions to custom conditions & assist in creating packages for submittal
• Provide guidance to tech support staff for seismic engineering
• Mentor & help develop junior engineers
• Attend job site meetings as needed to resolve design issues

This role is in office, in Matthews, NC. Potential for hybrid long-term.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary $120-190k+ (based on experience)
