Job summary

RealREPP, a national recruiting firm, is partnering with a well-established provider to search for a licensed Structural Engineer in Matthews, NC. The role is in office, with potential for hybrid long-term.

Responsibilities include calculations, submittal packages, teamwork with the engineering staff, seismic guidance, and mentoring junior engineers. Requirements include a Civil/Structural degree, 5+ years, PE license, and experience on large-scale advanced manufacturing projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years Structural Engineering experience.
• PE license required (any state).
• Stamping experience preferred.
• Experience on advanced manufacturing/advanced technology projects required.
• Experience on large-scale projects required.
• Strong knowledge of building codes including: ASCE, IBC, ACI, UFC, NDS, AISC.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, RISA-3D, Enercalc, Bluebeam.

• Perform calculations and assemble information into a comprehensive package for installers.
• Assist Technical Support Engineers to create professional calculations and details, including review and approval.
• Collaborate with engineering team to provide solutions for custom conditions and submittal packages.
• Provide guidance to tech support staff for seismic engineering.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Attend job site meetings to resolve design issues.

• Base Salary $120-190k+ (based on experience)
